T he government has released an official list of 147 schools in England that have been identified as having crumbling concrete. These schools were built using reinforced autoclaved aerated concrete (RAAC), which has raised concerns about structural integrity.

It is important to note that the number of affected schools is expected to increase, as the Department for Education continues to compile the list. Initially, the DfE stated that 156 schools were affected.

PMP Magazine will provide updates on this page as more schools are added to the government’s list.

(Note: This list is the official and up-to-date information provided by the government on 19 September 2023.)
