RAAC: The list of schools at risk in England

In England, a significant number of schools are currently dealing with structural issues caused by the use of reinforced autoclaved aerated concrete (RAAC). The government has already updated the list of affected schools as investigations continue.

T he government has released an official list of 147 schools in England that have been identified as having crumbling concrete. These schools were built using reinforced autoclaved aerated concrete (RAAC), which has raised concerns about structural integrity.

It is important to note that the number of affected schools is expected to increase, as the Department for Education continues to compile the list. Initially, the DfE stated that 156 schools were affected.
