The California Institute of Technology has demonstrated wireless transmission of solar power from space to Earth for the first time. This could enable uninterrupted renewable energy for the world.

S olar power has been successfully harvested in space and transmitted wirelessly to Earth for the first time, according to a recent experiment conducted by the California Institute of Technology (Caltech) in March.
