Donald Trump accused Joe Biden of weaponizing the justice department and compared the situation to Stalinist Russia to explain his recent indictment, whilst Mike Pence urged patience and prayer for Trump, who now faces 37 charges related to handling classified documents.
D onald Trump delivered a speech at state Republican conventions in Georgia and North Carolina following his recent federal indictment.
In his speech, Trump criticized the Department of Justice, the FBI, and the Biden administration. He repeated unsupported conspiratorial claims that Joe Biden had stashed secret documents in the Chinatown neighbourhood of Washington DC.
