Boris Johnson set to publish a memoir of his time as Prime Minister

HarperCollins has announced that former Prime Minister Boris Johnson will be publishing a memoir of his years in office.

The book, as yet untitled and without a publication date, is said to be unlike any other prime ministerial memoir. Arabella Pike, publishing director at William Collins, an imprint of HarperCollins UK, expressed her enthusiasm for the project.

“I am thrilled to be working with Boris Johnson as he pens his account of his time in office,” said Pike. “This is a period of history that will undoubtedly be remembered for years to come, and I am confident that his memoir will provide an invaluable insight into the events of the past few years.”

The exact financial details of the deal have not been disclosed, though industry experts have suggested that Johnson may have received a high six-figure or even seven-figure sum. No matter the amount, it is clear that HarperCollins is confident that the memoir will be a success.
